Groundhog Day, Book by Danny Rubin, Music & Lyrics by Tim Minchin

February 14 @ 8:00 pm 10:00 pm

A musical comedy with a philosophical twist, Groundhog Day follows Phil Connors, a big-city weatherman reluctantly sent to cover the annual Groundhog Day ceremony in the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

Frustrated by the assignment and dismissive of the town’s cheerful traditions, Phil finds himself caught in an inexplicable loop — waking up each morning to relive February 2 again and again. As time loses its meaning, the story explores how repetition, choice, and self-reflection can reshape a life.

Blending humour with heart, the musical moves between comedy and introspection, inviting audiences to consider what it means to change when tomorrow never seems to arrive.

“How would you spend your time if forced to repeat the same day over and over again?”
