The Trouper grew out of the long-running newsletter Durham’s Community Stage, which continues to focus on local theatres in the Durham Region. This site expands that mission into a larger, easy-to-navigate home — one that welcomes troupers from across the Greater Toronto Area.

Community theatre survives and thrives because people give their time, talent, and passion. This space honours that spirit.
